LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, YORDAN ALVAREZ IS BACK
Apologies for the yelling, it's just that this is very exciting.
On September 22nd, Yordan Alvarez injured his knee after sliding into second base against the Angels at Minute Maid Park.
Every Astros fan let out a collective sigh.
Manager Joe Espada said that it was a knee sprain after Alvarez received an MRI.
After every update, it seemed more and more likely that he would not be available for the Wild Card series. Espada was saying there was too much swelling and inflammation.
Then, it feels that everything shifted. We went from people behind closed doors saying they didn't think Yordan would be back in time, to this past Sunday where Espada saying publicly that he was looking better.
What a whirlwind.
