The Astros leaned heavily into Houston space elements for the City Connect jerseys

The Houston Astros have unveiled their new City Connect jerseys before the 2025 season. Leaning heavily into the looks of NASA and the culture of Space City, the Astros are ready for take off.

For the first time in team history, the Astros have acknowledged and adopted the nickname of “Stros” publicly, using it on the jersey front. Before this, the terms “Stros” was never seen around the ballpark or on any marketing material.

Also, the Astros marketing team had a heavy hand in designing the jersey, outside of Nike doing so for other City Connect jerseys. This decisions allowed for the Astros to be able to add elements only Houstonians would truly understand.
