Folks, we have made it to 2025. I hope everyone is feeling healthy and happy in a new year. I also hope the same for the Astros as they enter this new season, especially the healthy aspect.

There is a lot of “new” for the Astros this year. A new third baseman (Isaac Parades), a new first baseman (Christian Walker), and a new stadium name (Daikin Park).

A lot of change comes with that too. Sad change. Alex Bregman is no longer an Astro. Kyle Tucker is a Cub and he “no longer hitting “Kyle Drivers” in Houston. Justin Verlander is a San Francisco Giant. These are all painful to see.

With all this, is 2025 going to be a disaster?
